Rural Aid Hay Bale Decorating Competition

Rural Aid has been helping Aussie farmers for 10 years. To celebrate this milestone this year, we are hosting different events to raise awareness of the joys and struggles our farmers ensure. This one is a hay bale decorating competition which allows our budding rural artists, or rural communities, to get together and be creative with bales of hay!

How to Enter:

1. Enter your high resolution photograph below
2. Post a photo to Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #BalesForRuralaAid or #RuralAidHayBaleChallenge in your caption
3. Tag @ruralaid in your picture(s)

About the competition

This competition will commence at 8am Friday 28th February 2025 (AEST) and closes at 5pm Sunday 1st June 2025 (AEST).

Each entry must be high resolution and landscape, and by submitting you grant Rural Aid the ability to use your photo in upcoming projects. The hay bale must be decorated between 28th February 2024 and 1st June 2025.

The first place winner will receive a $250 Prepaid VISA cards, per the Terms and Conditions.
