Rural Aid’s Community Development program creates long-term positive change, improved economic growth and fosters prosperity in small rural towns.

Our Community Development and capacity building programs use an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, empowering communities to be active partners in building resilience and adaptability to natural disasters. Rural Aid is working with Peter Kenyon from the Bank of I.D.E.A.S. to deliver the award-winning programs.

The programs not only build individual leaders, but also strengthen social connections and bonds within the community. With the help of the Rural Aid programs, rural communities build a more resilient and sustainable future, in the face of unexpected challenges.
