Born out of the 2015-2020 Australian drought, the nationally recognised Buy a Bale campaign was launched to support Aussie farmers as they faced some of the most severe conditions on record.

The entire country came together—raising critical funds and supporting events like HayMate and GoodOnYaMate—with the emergency fodder deliveries provided by the team that would go on to become Rural Aid saving the lives of countless starving animals.

Now, almost 10 years later, Aussie farmers are still facing everything from drought and bushfires to monsoonal rain, pest incursions and pricing pressures. The financial, physical, and emotional toll can be huge… and sometimes it can prove too much to bear.
