Spread joy this Christmas to our farmers and their families.
A few years ago, thousands of school kids from all over Australia sent Christmas cards to our Aussie farmers. The impact was incredible.
These handmade cards didn’t just lift the spirits of our farmers—they also created a connection between country and city kids. A simple message like, “Thank you so much for everything you do to produce our food,” meant the world to them.
One farmer shared their heartfelt response, which you can check out here
We haven’t done the Christmas cards in a while, but it’s time to bring it back and show some love to our farmers!
We understand that the end of the school year can be a busy time for teachers and students alike. However, we believe that this initiative provides a meaningful opportunity to engage students in a creative and educational activity. Our farmers come from various sectors, including grazing, crops such as wheat and sugar, prawn farming, vegetable growing, and even grape and poultry production—the list goes on. By participating, your students will help put smiles on the faces of farming families who are doing it tough.
This initiative also coincides with National Agriculture Day on 15th November, agday.org.au making it a perfect time to celebrate and acknowledge the contributions of our farmers.
We encourage you to register your school and join this heartwarming project before the holiday rush begins.
